I am a life-long learner. I continue to add to my knowledge and experiences of the world around me, striving to never assume I "know it all".
As a teacher, I like to introduce the field of anthropology and how a cultural relativistic perspective can reshape the way that we view the world and our place within it. This also helps to shape my role as a mother. When I lecture, I often add in stories of my life and my family. I refuse to remove one from the other, we are holistic and each bring a unique story to the table.
